POWERTRAIN

This Cameo is powered by the historic Chevrolet 265-cu.in. OHV small-block V8. With a compression ratio of 7.5:1, the engine received its fuel mixture via a single-barrel Rochester carburetor and was rated by the manufacturer at 140 horsepower when new.

EXTERIOR

The Bombay Ivory finish is “very good,” with no swirls. No specific body blemishes are noted. The cargo bed shows no dents or other imperfections, and has a wooden floor that looks to be free of scuffs and other damage. All body panels appear to be straight. Windshield glass is original and free of damage.

INTERIOR

The Cameo’s interior has been restored, with the blue and white vinyl bench seat showing no tears or other damage. Upholstery has recently been professionally repaired and cleaned and is now “perfect.” The carpet looks to be in good shape, with no visible holes. The headliner condition is termed “excellent.” There is no air conditioning or functional heat. Seat belts have been added.

CHASSIS

The manual steering is new, noting minimal free play. The suspension and shocks are fine, with no known damage. The manual drum brakes were reportedly serviced two years ago with a new master cylinder, wheel cylinders, and flex hoses.
